Electrical

Engineering and industrial automation of FIECO, with use of efficient and experienced human resources and modern knowledge in the field of electrical systems, industrial automation, instrumentation, fire alarms, telecommunications, network security, communication and data networks, is one of the active departments for EPC projects in various industries and has extensive experience.
This process includes five units of electricity, industrial automation and telecommunications, electricity and industrial automation factories, hardware, and software with the following activities and capabilities:
1-    Electrical engineering:
All stages and operations of studies, consulting, design, calculations, engineering procurement, installation, commissioning, testing, and operation of electrical systems and equipment in various plants are carried out in this section. The activities of this section include the following systems and equipment:
•    Power generation, transmission, and distribution systems, power stations, and Static Var Compensators (SVC)
•    Transformers
•    Emergency power system, diesel generator, and UPS
•    High, medium, and low-voltage panels (HV/MV/LV Switchgear / Battery Charger / Capacitor Bank)
•    Cables and cabling
•    Lighting, power supply, and sockets systems
•    Grounding system
•    Cathodic protection system
•    Lightning protection system
•    Electrical heat tracing system
2-    Automation and telecommunication engineering
All stages and operations of consultation, hardware and software design, calculations, procurement engineering, supply, installation, implementation, testing, and commissioning of industrial automation and telecommunications systems and instrumentations are carried out in various plants in this section. The activities of this section are following as below:
    
•    Modernization, revamping and optimization of old industries
•    Industrial automation units and new processes
•    Upgrading the hardware and software of automation process
•    Fire alarm and fire fighting
•    Network communications and information exchanging for automation systems and SCADA
    These activities include the following systems and equipment:
    Control, monitoring, and network systems (DCS/PLC/HMI/Network)
    Instrumentations including analyzers, transmitters, switches, displays, and converters
    SCADA systems
    Signaling, SCADA, and metro train communications systems
    Fire alarm systems (F&G)
    Telecommunications systems including telephone, intercom, paging, and CCTV cameras
 FIECO signed a cooperation agreement with Siemens Germany as a Distributor in 2000 and then in 2015 signed a new memorandum of understanding as a Siemens Cooperation Partner with the Process Industries and Drives division of Siemens in various industries such as steel, min, oil, gas, and energy.
3-    Electrical and industrial automation workshop
Electrical and industrial automation workshop is manufacturing and assembly of various control systems and electrical panels based on IEC 61439 and IEC 60947 standards.
The activities of this workshop include Manufacturing and assembly of:
    control panels (PLC/RIO).
    auxiliary panels of control system and power (LCP/Auxiliary/JB).
    various fixed and sliding low voltage power distribution panels (PCC/PDP/MCC).
    various feed and drive panels.
    lighting, distribution, and socket panels.
    capacitor bank panels.
4-    Hardware Engineering
The hardware engineering department is responsible for the development, optimization, updating, maintenance, and support of all hardware systems and equipment, network, data center, network telephone, communication and data infrastructure, as well as information storage, recovery, networking security, and support systems. This includes all stages and operations of consulting, hardware and software design, calculations, procurement engineering, installation, implementation, testing, and commissioning of the mentioned systems. The activities of this department include the following systems and equipment:
•    Project Management Integration System (PMIS)
•    Information management system and archive of technical and engineering documents (IMS)
•    Procurement Management System
•    Control and management system of project engineering documents
•    Comprehensive management system of data center
•    Comprehensive management system of knowledge bank
•    Comprehensive management system of the enterprise portal
•    Enhance the knowledge and training management system
•    Integrated Management System
•    Business Process Management System (BPMS)
